Where does it come from?
CMO is refined from beef tallow. The tallow is derived from US beef. Authentic CMO does not come from vegetables, marine oils or beavers as some companies have claimed.

How is it made?
Beef tallow is specially processed to our specifications by a rendering facility for our use. The resulting product is further processed to extract the CMO fatty acid complex in the form of a "raw" waxy material. The finished "raw" CMO waxes are then processed for capsules or cream.

All refining, manufacturing, processing and bottling is conducted in government inspected and licensed facilities here in the USA.

Can it come from vegetables?
Authentic CMO does not come from "vegetable sources" and neither can cetyl myristoleate according to our chemists. According to the industry standard materials on the table oils, there are no viable forms of CMO or cetyl myristoleate in vegetable source oils. For details click here.

How come I never heard of this before?
CMO was just discovered in late 1995 and first marketed in 1996. Despite the publicity CMO users have generated, as the manufacturer, it will be a few more years until we can publish claims that meet the ever changing criteria of our current government regulations. Essential laws governing the Food & Drug industry have only just recently allowed for "Dietary Supplements". Even those regulations were deemed unconstitutional by the court of appeals in January of 1999.

Where are all your claims & testimonials?
If we manufactured natural vitamin C and sold it as the cure for scurvy (which it is), we would be selling "drugs". Vitamin C can be manufactured and sold as a dietary supplement so long as you don't claim it cures scurvy.

You can take vitamin C and it will prevent you from getting scurvy or cure you if you have it. We don't manufacture Vitamin C so we are allowed to tell you this.

You can cure your scurvy with vitamin C and tell everyone you know. You can even go on the Oprah show. The manufacturer couldn't. That is why you will find no health claims on this web site (except those for vitamin C).

How can I spot a fraud or copy cats?
Authentic CMO is a powder and it comes from beef sources. We manufacture custom formulas for many of clients that include the addition of Collagen, Sea Cucumber Extract, Shark Cartilage, Glucosamine and/or Chondroitin Sulfate. If you ever have any doubt, please feel free to contact us directly.

How is authentic CMO different from all those other "copy cat" CMO products?
Comparing CMO to other products that claim their cetyl myristoleate is CMO would be like comparing chelated minerals to a box of rocks. There may be a lot of minerals in the box of rocks but, their dietary value couldn't compare. The same is true for for authentic CMO.
